Abandoning the gas guzzling habit is one aspect but companies like
Zenn Cars who create similar vehicles to Tesla in Canada have faced some red tape hurdles as well. So the challenges start at the most mundane level but scale as you rightly point out to our respective national habits.

I agree the design of these cars are fantastic and they are obviously the right kind of cars for an era where not only design thinking but systems thinking is starting to enter mainstream relevance. This is good to see, the small movement of getting off each of our own respective islands and broadening our social perspectives, all bodes well for these cars to become a daily fabric of our experiences.

Of course the price point is an inhibitor but that is the real beauty of design, once a mission is understood deeply, design is not only a creativity point but the very place costs can be addressed, so I am very optimistic over the long haul of changes that are being driven by environmental as well as economic realities.

Thank you Brian for the refresher. Gary Benzel of Greenlady.com once told me the story about Tesla and I have been hooked ever since, I even designed my first Thank you cards with Tesla’s likeness on them. The name is so appropriate for the creation. I even loved David Bowies - Teslas - portrayal in The Prestige.

The application of science and art is shown brilliantly in the sculpture and design of the car. What intrigues me most is how radical entrepreneurs are defying a system of corporate giants in a new Boston Tea Party, however we are not dumping tea nowdays. Many media channels has steered the mass audience into greening and assisting with our precious environment. (Al Gores, An Inconvenient Truth) - I hope for the sake of us all we have time to undue what has been done. Uhmm I new name for our Modern age Boston Tea Party??? Silicone Valley Dinasaur Drip? Fossil Fuel Finalé? What would be a grand name for this era??

Positive thinking won't let you do anything but it will let you do everything better than negative thinking will.
